Pakistan toured the West Indies for a full tour comprising of T20Is, ODIs and the Tests. The visitors notched up clinical wins in the shorter formats of the game. Some of the new talents of world cricket were unearthed during the series. In the Tests, some stalwarts of the game validated their claim as the big match players. On the other hand, other players rose to prominence as well with their superb performances.

Now, in the recent times, he has emerged as the go to man for West Indies team in the longest format of the game with the bat. Roston Chase featured in two Test matches during this period and came up with a fifty and a century to his name.

He hit a masterly 63 and stitched a 118 run stand with Shane Dowrich in the first Test against Pakistan. The partnership bailed out the hosts from trouble of being at 71/5 in the first innings. He did not disappoint with the ball in the month of April either. In the 7 innings that he bowled in, Amir returned with 16 wickets to his credit. He was threatening with the ball in the first Test against the West Indies.
