However, the franchise has bid farewell to the cricketer with a special message on its official Twitter handle.
Bollinger donned the yellow jersey of CSK for three years from 2010 to 2012 and was crucial to the team’s success in all the seasons. The franchise also won the title in his presence twice in 2010 and 2011 and under the leadership of MS Dhoni. It was the thank you message for the 36-year-old who played for them for three years. Unfortunately, he was never seen playing the Indian T20 league after that. Though he made his presence felt by making an impact with the ball for CSK. He was always a go-to bowler for his skipper and never disappointed.

Bollinger made his debut for Australia in a Test match against South Africa in January 2009 at the SCG. He played a total of 12 matches in whites and went on to pick 50 wickets at an impressive average of 25.92. He was also a gun player in the limited overs format and scalped 62 wickets while featuring in 39 ODIs. Unfortunately, injury woes ruined his career else he had the potential to become one of the best bowlers for Australia ever.
