Pakistani pacer Hasan Ali has been a revelation for the Pakistani team in the ongoing edition of the Champions Trophy. He has been very instrumental in taking his side to the finals of the tournament. Now, the 23-year-old pace bowler has set his eyes on performing well in the big finals against India. As per the recent quotes in Geo.tv, Hasan Ali spoke at length about his plans for the big game.

He noted that he is not feeling any pressure going into the game. Hasan has already scalped two three-wicket hauls in the tournament. He is currently the leading wicket taker in the tournament and wishes to finish with the Golden Ball award to his name.

“I am all set to continue my form and performance in the final against India. There is no pressure going into the finale. I will be relaxed and determined to take the Golden Ball award home,” quoted Hasan Ali.

On Azhar’s contribution

Speaking further, he cited that the bowling coach Azhar Mahmood has had a big role in shaping the bowling lineup of Pakistan. This is not the first time Hasan acknowledged the work Azhar. When he was awarded the Man of the Match award after the game against England, Hasan had thanked the efforts put in by Azhar Mahmood.

“Azhar has played a very important role in making our bowling attack so effective. We stick to his plans in every match. I have learned a lot from him,” he conceded.

On his celebration

It is not only his wicket taking ability that is taking the headlines, but also his celebratory move. When told that his move is being copied by youngsters back home, Hasan Ali hoped that he gets to celebrate four or five times in the game against India.

“I thank the fans for taking up my style. Pray that I get to celebrate like this three, four or five times in the final against India,” said Ali with a smile.
