English all-rounder Moeen Ali looked very excited ahead of the team’s marquee clash against Bangladesh in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2017. The highly anticipated semi-final encounter is expected to be dominated by the hosts. England will get into the match with an unbeaten run in the tournament.

On the other hand, team Bangladesh would feel pumped up after their nervy win over New Zealand a few days ago. Needless to say, the excitement levels are soaring high. This was evident with the tweet that Moeen Ali posted on the social media platform Twitter.

Ali posted a picture of himself where he is seen trying to catch a ball. He added the caption that he just can’t wait for the big semi-final match. He wrote, “Can’t wait for tomorrow! Prep all done.!!  come on @ECB_cricket.”

Much to his amusement, the tweet saw him getting trolled in different ways by his friends. His English team-mate Alex Hales and European Tour Golfer Andrew Johnston started commenting on the picture to troll Moeen Ali. Alex Hales commented on the picture and joked that the catch would be dropped. Johnston also ended up mocking Ali for the picture saying the ball would and on his face and end up breaking his teeth.

Alex Hales commented on this and joked that the broken teeth ‘would make him better looking’. In response to this, Moeen Ali also found an archive picture of Alex Hales catching a ball. Whether the ball was caught or not remains unknown though. Moeen tweeted back:

The big game

Talking about the contest, England and Bangladesh would want to make a point in the match. For the English side, it is about winning the coveted 50 overs championship that has eluded them since like forever. On the other hand, the Bangladeshi side is already having a merry run having made it to the semi-finals of an ICC event for the first time.
