Indian origin WWE wrestler Jinder Mahal is all prepped up to fight 14-time world champion Triple H on December 9 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi. Mahal, who is the current WWE champion will take on Triple H in arguably the biggest match of his career.
The WWE live event has been made possible after the promotion and Sony Pictures Networks India announced the 2-day event that will take place on Friday, December 8, and Saturday, December 9. The event follows the massive success of the WWE’s tour of India in January of 2016, its first in fourteen years.
However, on his visit to India, the ‘Maharaja’ couldn’t evade answering cricket related questions. In an interview with NDTV he faced a rather tricky question when he had to pick one amongst MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli. When quizzed, the Indo-Canadian wrestler had a clear answer. With a wry smile on his face when he took the name of current Indian skipper, “I like Virat Kohli as he is a very stylish player.”
Kohli is a household name in the country and has taken the Men in Blue to new heights. Thus, it wasn’t surprising that Mahal tipped the scales in favour of the current Indian skipper.
