Dale Steyn trolls Morne Morkel and gets trolled back

Two of the leading South African pacers, Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel, are known to share a great camaraderie not just on the field but off the field as well. Recently, Steyn tried to troll Morne Morkel on Twitter but ended up being trolled by Morne’s wife on the social media.

It all started with Dale Steyn uploading a picture of Morne Morkel with baby diapers in his hands. Apparently the tall South African pacer had been to shopping and was full on house duty to shop the nappies for his kid. Dale Steyn said that there was a time when Morne Morkel would often return with pizzas in his hands and now he has the diapers in his hands. Steyn mocked him saying ‘how times changed’.

Morne Morkel did not retweet or comment back but it was rather his spouse who left a witty retweet for Steyn. She tweeted back saying she is looking for a babysitter. And if interested, Steyn could do that job for a bit of pocket money maybe. Steyn has been warming the bench for the Gujarat Lions this season and hence the dig on Morkel probably misfired back at him.

Steyn, however, took the comment in a sporting way and said he has already been doing it for the last two weeks, so much so, that he has become a pro at it now.

Both Morkel and Steyn are playing in the IPL at the moment. While Morne Morkel has turned up for the Kolkata Knight Riders frequently, Steyn has played just one match in this season so far for the Gujarat Lions.
