'Damn I miss the unpredictable nature of the tournament' - Shah Rukh Khan after the postponement of IPL 2020

Indian Premier League 2020 was postponed by BCCI for an indefinite period due to the ongoing lockdown in the country due to the coronavirus threat. The cricket fans seem sad over the fact that the 13th edition of the tournament is surrounded by uncertainty clouds. Now, Shah Rukh Khan, the Bollywood superstar has also shared his disappointment over the same in his recent social media activity.

Earlier, IPL 2020 was scheduled to begin from March 29. But, BCCI postponed adjourned it to mid-April. In the meantime, the Indian government announced lockdown in the country until April 14. On the final day of lockdown, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the extension of lockdown till May 3. This came out as disastrous news for the IPL fans and the cricket board as they were forced to announce the postponement of IPL 2020.

According to reports, BCCI is still in the quest to find an appropriate window for the T20 tournament in order to go ahead with its 13th edition. However, this could only be made possible after the things are back to normalcy.

Recently, a famous comedian Ramesh Srivatsa took to his official Twitter handle and shared his views if the tournament would have got kicked off on March 29.

His tweet read, “But for this virus, by now, CSK would have qualified, DC would be out, SRH confident, RR surprisingly well placed, KXP surprisingly badly placed, KKR all over the place, MI would start winning every game because they need to, and RCB would start losing every game because, sigh!.”

As soon as Shah Rukh Khan came across this tweet, he shared his disappointment over the postponement of the tournament while taking a dig at the comedian’s tweet. The 54-year-old said that he is currently missing the unpredictable nature of the tournament.

The actor responded, “Damn I miss the unpredictable and capricious nature of the IPL tournament now!!!.” Shah Rukh Khan is the co-owner of two-times IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders currently led by wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik.
