The captain of the Indian cricket team, the main man Virat Kohli tied the knot today with the love of his life Anushka Sharma in a private wedding in Italy. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram all social media platforms were soon flooded with congratulatory messages for the couple. One of the special wishes to appear was from England women’s cricketer Danielle Wyatt.
Though the duo kept the entire occasion a hush-hush not talking about the details out in the open, it was widely reported and thus known to all. On the evening of December 11, hours after taking the vows a similar post appeared on Virushka’s profile announcing to the world that they were married and looking forward to this exciting new phase of life with each other for company.
Amidst the flood of messages Wyatt’s post stood out as she wrote- “Congratulations @imVkohli & @AnushkaSharma ☺️?”

It was special not just because she is an overseas cricketer but also since she was one among the millions of admirers of the Indian stalwart. Wyatt apart from her cricketing exploits is famous amongst Indian fans for asking Virat to marry her. She went on to the extent of posting a tweet which read: “Kholi marry me!!!”

Virat said that they had promised each be in love forever and sought the love, support and blessings from his fans and well-wishers. He termed them all an important part of their journey.
