It was an absorbing third day of the ongoing second Test between South Africa and Australia, that saw some tremendous skills on display from both the sides. Bowling the visitors out for a paltry 243, the Proteas responded brilliantly in their first innings as they managed a comfortable lead of 139 runs after some early hiccups.
It was a classy knock from Mr. 360 as he bamboozled the Aussie attack all around the park, the man at rescue paved his way to another ton, his sixth against the Aussies remaining unbeaten on 126 at halfway through the Test match. AB de Villiers was at his best as he gave the Aussie a run for their money, even more, when wickets continue to fell at the other end. It was an impressive inning from the master that was highly appreciated even by the opposition.
Warner lauds AB
Despite being in the opposition, David Warner is a great man at heart although, sometimes he lets his emotions get better of him. It was yet another instance where the ‘pocket-size dynamite’ as he is usually referred as praised AB De Villiers for his stupendous knock against them in the ongoing Test match.
Referring it as one of the tough days at the office, Warner took to Twitter to congratulate, what was a treat to watch the great man in the business. He even mentioned about their No.3 Usman Khawaja, who even after a flurry of wickets form the other end, held the innings together with his gritty knock before falling before the close of the play.
Here’s the tweet:
Tough day today. SA came out hard and a very well played ? by @ABdeVilliers17 . @Uz_Khawaja ? good start now need to deliver more tomorrow from painey and @mitchmarsh235 ???♀️

Warner didn’t fail to mention that they rely more on Tim Paine and Mitchell Marsh who are capable of stretching this lead to as much as possible providing them something to bowl at. Australia after conceding a 139 runs lead didn’t have a great second innings start, before the pair of Usman Khawaja and Mitchell Marsh did manage to string in a crucial fifth-wicket partnership to give the visitors some hope of finding their way back into the game.
