Twitter has always provided a platform for sporting personalities and fans to interact with each other, share a banter, trolling one another, etc. Cricketers like Jimmy Neesham, Virender Sehwag have displayed their humorous side on the micro blogging site reflecting their true potential of hitting sixers even on social media.

Many other cricketers also engage in conversations that offer some entertainment to the fans. It’s always interesting to see players or commentators recollecting incidents down the memory lane, sharing their experiences about a particular place, etc. It’s always a delightful moment for the fans to watch something like that. Everyone loves to watch the bonds that have developed between them despite being from different parts of the world playing and working together for years.

We witnessed one such intriguing and funny experience shared by famous English commentator Alan Wilkins while former Australian cricketer Dean Jones had a hilarious take at the same. It had the Indian fans appreciating and sharing a laugh.

Wilkins tweeted about a new Hindi word he learnt from the social networking site and emphasised that he found it really funny.

Here is what he tweeted:

Those familiar with the language shared a good laugh

Some were busy doing what they do best. Troll.

However, the best response came from a co-commentator Professor Deano who congratulated Alan on learning the new word and called him an old horse in Hindi.

Here is Dean Jones’ reply:

At the end of the day, the conversation was really heartening for the fans as two foreign cricketers i.e. an Australian and an Englishman were conversing in Hindi.

These days, the different leagues and tournaments taking place all over the world have bought not only the players but also various match officials including commentators together and try to understand different cultures.
