Sachin Tendulkar remains to be one of the best players to be produced by India. Therefore, it is certainly no surprise that he finds himself in the starting XI. Tendulkar has scored 9 centuries against the Australians in ODI’s. His only ODI century against Australia on Australian soil came in the Commonwealth Bank series final. A brilliant yet crucial 117 at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground ensured a game and series win for an Indian side lacking confidence following the 2007 World Cup debacle. Sachin Tendulkar has scored over 3000 runs in ODI’s with a mind-blowing average of 44.59.
