After more than two months of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, the Delhi Capitals (DC) franchise has given a week-long break to their digital team consisting of content creators, account executives, videographers, video editors, and graphic designers. Just like the previous year, the decision has been taken to focus on the ‘Mental Health’ of the employees.
The Capitals on May 30 (Monday) put out a tweet to announce a seven-day long break for its digital team. To note, the Capitals side finished on the fifth spot in the points table of IPL 2022 after winning seven out of their 14 matches. DC were knocked out of the tournament after losing to the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in their last group-stage match.
We hope you all will be supportive of this decision as well: DC
“Dear DC Fans, Hope you are doing well. As a team, one of Delhi Capitals’ key focus areas is the mental health of everyone who works with us. As we, the digital team, work tirelessly to get you the best ringside view of all the action during the season, it is crucial for us to give our minds a well-deserved break as well. Hence, just like last year, our team (comprising content creators, account executives, videographers, video editors, graphic designers) is going to be on a week-long break (starting today to 11 AM on the 6th of June) to rest, recharge and recuperate,” DC wrote on their official Twitter handle.
“Your love and unending support is what keeps us going and we hope you all will be supportive of this decision as well. We promise to make it a ROARING return. Till then take care,” the Tweet added.
