The ace shuttler of India PV Sindhu graced her presence during the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Needless to say that she was rooting for the Orange Army even as they lost the game by 5 wickets. The loss though didn’t affect the hosts as they had already qualified for the playoffs. However, Sindhu, in an interview during the game, went on to praise the likes of MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli and also felt that there is a lot to learn from them.
SRH was the first team to qualify for the playoffs as they had performed exceptionally well. Their bowlers need a special mention as they always kept on defending low totals and kept them on the top of the points table. Though they have now lost three matches on the trot the team will be confident going into the first qualifier where they will be most probably facing Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Her badminton partner
PV Sindhu, during the game, claimed that she would pick one of the best players in the Indian team as her doubles players in Badminton. She also went on to praise Dhoni and Kohli for the way they play and believed “I would choose one of the best from the Indian team to be my doubles partner. I don’t know how all of them play! There is a lot you can learn from Dhoni and Kohli. There’s a lot you can learn from them even being in a different sport. The aggressiveness, the way they play, there’s lots to see from Dhoni and Kohli,” she was quoted as saying by Indian Express.
Sindhu also informed that she likes to attend the matches of SRH whenever possible and she is free from her busy schedule. “When I’m off from badminton and I’m in Hyderabad, I do come for matches. Last time also I was here and this time again. Also since its a Saturday, I came to enjoy and chill,” one of India’s best Badminton player added.
