Dilruwan better than Ashwin? Aakash Chopra gives fitting reply to Sri Lankan administrator

Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra is emerging out to be one of the finest cricket analysts of the modern day game. Recently, Aakash Chopra posted a tweet response to a Sri Lankan cricket administrator who had lashed out hard at ace Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. The administrator has written a series of tweets in which he drew comparisons between Ashwin and Sri Lankan all-rounder Dilruwan Perera. It is worth noting that both Ashwin and Perera deal in the same trade – the off spin bowling.

Also, both cricketers play a crucial role in the lower middle order for their respective teams. The Sri Lankan cricket admin tried to draw conclusions on Dilruwan being a better Test cricketer than R Ashwin. He noted that the popular Indian bowlers – Harbhajan Singh, Pragyan Ojha, and Ashwin – are all chuckers. It is the big influence of their cricket board that has been saving them from a long time. Also, he remarked that Ashwin has never tasted success in overseas conditions.

He mocked the admin with his sense of sarcasm and took a heavy dig at him. He conceded that Dilruwan being a better cricketer than Ashwin is almost analogous to pigs flying around. “Go ahead.
