Dinesh Karthik and Jemimah Rodrigues engage in a hilarious convo on Twitter over commentary
Jemimah is enjoying her stay in England on and off the field.
Jemimah Rodrigues has been lighting up The Hundred. She is the highest run-getter of the competition with 241 runs in five matches while featuring for Northern Superchargers and the batter is looking in extremely good form. Even off the field, the 20-year-old hogs all the limelight with her antics. On social media too, she keeps on entertaining her fans with hilarious videos and posts.
On Tuesday (August 10), Jemimah made her commentary debut during The Hundred match between Manchester Originals and London Spirit. She had the likes of Dinesh Karthik, Nasser Hussain and Mark Butcher to accompany her in the commentary box as well.
As expected, the India batter had a wonderful with the mic in hand and she expressed her delight over the same on her Twitter handle after the game. “What an experience!!! Thanks @SkyCricket for having me in the Comm Box today. PS: Stay tuned… something exciting coming up,” she tweeted.
Replying to her tweet, Karthik lauded Jemimah for her commentary skills and also praised her hilariously for not following only rule of not listening to Butcher and Hussain.
“Well done. You were fab . Good to see you follow the ONLY rule in the Comms box as well. Never ever listen to anything @nassercricket and or @robkey612 have to say #ONLYRULE,” Karthik tweeted making Jemimah aware of the rules.
Jemimah’s response to Karthik left everyone in splits
Mark Butcher then extended the funny conversation saying that Jemimah Rodrigues was also asking about Karthik’s dressing sense and trolled him. The latter was then quick to come up with a response as well. At the same time, Rodrigues quoted Karthik’s ‘Only Rule’ tweet and told him that the same thing was told to her by Butcher and Nasser as well about him.
“HAHAHAHAHAHA!! Interestingly enough, that’s EXACTLY what they told me about anything you say!” she tweeted. The 20-year-old is certainly having fun times in England at the moment and seems to be in good space on and off the field. She was struggling not long ago with the bat but having found her form, Jemimah Rodrigues is certainly enjoying and she will be keen on continuing to perform well.
