They say, “you are as good as your last innings”. He represented the Baggy Green 6 times and made the most of it by amassing 503 runs at an average of 55.88 with a double hundred to his name. For some unfortunate reason, Hodge couldn’t count more caps at the international level. In the domestic level, Hodge’s name will go down in the history books as one of the finest. He has notched up 17,084 runs along with 51 centuries and 64 half-centuries, with a best of 302*.

His T20 record is as good as the longer format. He has played 243 T20 games at a staggering average of 37.00, putting up 6661 runs along with a couple of centuries. An important addition to any team, Australia missed the services of Brag Hodge, as much as Brad missed the Australian cap.
