Mayanti Langer is known as one of the famous cricket journalists in India as she has been the face of many high-profile tournaments conducted all these years. In one of the tournaments, she was interviewing her now-husband Stuart Binny and asked about his plans of getting married. Langer interviewed Binny in the 2008 edition of the Indian Cricket League (ICL).
In the same sequence, Langer moved to Binny for a quick chat session and asked her something about the game, and then moved to his personal life. At that point in time, the Indian cricketer was plying his trade with Hyderabad Heroes in the same tournament. After asking something around the game, the anchor cheekily asked Binny about his marriage plans.
“I don’t know if I’m supposed to say this or not but I hear wedding bells are around the corner is that right,” asked Mayanti.
“Not really,” responded Binny to which the anchor said ‘Don’t Blush.’ However, the interview took place in 2008 and both of them tied the knot in 2012. Talking about Stuart Binny, he played two seasons with Hyderabad before ICL saw an abrupt ending. It was reported that the cricketer had then accepted BCCI’s amnesty offer and joined the army of Mumbai Indians for the 2010 season of the Indian Premier League.

On the other hand, Langer turned up as India’s very famous cricket journalist. When she missed on the 2020 edition of IPL which was held in the UAE, fans started speculating if her contract is over with Star Sports. However, later she ended all the speculation and cleared the air by adding that she and her husband have been blessed with a baby boy. And, she wishes to have some family time for now.
Talking about Stuart Binny, his career with India was short-lived, and didn’t see much success on the international level just like his father, Roger Binny.
