He is known to be a doyen not only for his cricketing exploits but also skills as an entertainer. And Dwayne Bravo proved it again recently when he recreated steps from Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Bachchan Pandey’.
The 38-year-old Caribbean all-rounder, who is one of the major assets of Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK), posted a video on his official Instagram account where he could be seen steps in tune with the film’s title song. Seeing the reel, one would not be wrong by saying that the ‘Champion’ cricketer simply looked brilliant and mesmerised his fans yet again.
“Champion ready to take on @akshaykumar had some fun doing this power hit! #NumberOne,” Bravo, who has played more than 520 T20 matches besides a decent number of international cricket, captioned the video.

Akshay Kumar reacts to Bravo dance
Even ‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar reacted to Bravo’s video saying in an Instagram post that he had fun watching the West Indian cricketer dance to the tune of his film’s song and lauded him saying, “Well done champ.” ‘Bachchan Pandey’ is set to be released on March 18.
Dashing Australia opener David Warner, who is also popular on social media for his dance numbers on Indian music, reacted to Bravo’s video as well. “Haha I was about to do this one lol too good,” the southpaw said.
Warner has danced to various Bollywood numbers and recreated scenes from some epic movies that the Indian film industry has churned out. Bravo has been roped in by reigning IPL champions CSK at the auction for the 2022 edition held in Bengaluru earlier this month. He has been a key member of the team led by Mahendra Songh Dhoni after joining it for the first time in 2011.
He has been part of the yellow brigade ever since barring the 2016 and 2017 editions when the CSK were suspended from the tournament. Bravo has played 151 matches in the IPL in which he has scored 1,537 runs at a strike rate of 130.25 and took 167 wickets at an economy of 8.35.
