'Electricity is temporary, generator is permanent' - Shadab Khan congratulates Hasan Ali for firing South Africa in 2nd Test

The right-arm quick Hasan Ali was the wrecker-in-chief for Pakistan cricket team as they scripted a memorable victory against South Africa by a massive 95 runs in the second Test of the two-match series at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The win in the second Test also meant that the Men in Green were successful in clean-sweeping the South Africa team in the Test series as the hosts had already won the first game by 7 wickets.

Hasan Ali weaved magic with the ball throughout the five-day Test match at Rawalpindi as he bowled the best spell of his life with the match figures of 10 for 114. The 26-year-old seamer, hailing from Punjab, was rightly adjudged the Man of the Match as he scalped 5 wickets in the first and second innings each while conceding 54 and 60 runs respectively.

The entire cricket fraternity was in awe of Hasan Ali’s performance as he received a lot of appreciation and applause from all across the globe. Pakistan’s vice-captain in limited-overs format and Hasan’s dear friend Shadab Khan also heaped praises on the quick and congratulated him for producing a match-winning spell.

Pakistan wins the second Test against South Africa in a stunning fashion

The second game between the two nations had commenced with Babar Azam winning the toss and opting to bat first. In the first innings, the host team managed to rack up a total of 272 runs on the board as Faheem Ashraf played a sublime knock of 78 runs while the captain also added 77 runs to the scoreboard.

In reply to 272 runs scored by Pakistan, SA could manage only 201 runs as Hasan Ali ram through their batting line-up to pick a five-wicket haul along with Shaheen Afridi, Faheem and Nauman Ali who had one each to their name.

South Africa’s second batting innings saw a similar fate as after Pakistan added 298 runs more on the scoreboard on the back of a scintillating century by Mohammad Rizwan, Africa collapsed at 274 as Hasan went all guns blazing at the opponents’ feeble batting line-up and picked six wickets.
