Ishan Kishan, the left-handed opening batsman from Jharkhand, the state MS Dhoni hails from, is another player emerging in this year’s Indian Premier League. He led India U-19 team to the finals of the U-19 World Cup held in Bangladesh last year. Many former cricketers were pleased the way he captained his side in the mega event. His big hitting skills came into the spotlight when he struck a 69 ball 87 with eight humongous sixes in a Ranji Trophy match against Saurashtra on a tough pitch.

Gujrat Lions picked him in 2016 auctions keeping in mind his abilities for INR 35 lakhs. He had been blowing hot and cold this season but he smashed 39 in only 16 deliveries to give his side hopes of victory chasing a huge total of 214 against RCB today. Ishan Kishan looks a real good prospect for the future.
