To be very honest, every Indian fan would have wished that he should be axed from the Indian team after that performance in the Nidahas Trophy final. But, when we look at the other side of the coin, that was the first ever big final that he was playing. He was under immense pressure which finally got the better of him.

However, he is one of the few fast-bowling all-rounders in India where finding batsmen who can bowl quickly is a rarity. It is also to be noted that he started bowling quick only about a year back. Furthermore, he showed some promise with the bat for the Delhi Daredevils in a few innings. But with Hardik Pandya coming back in, it was inevitable that he was to be dropped which is somewhat unfair.
