England batsman Jos Buttler becomes father of a baby girl
"2 become 3."
Days ahead of the World Cup, England star Jos Buttler received one of the best news of his life as he and his wife Louise became proud parents of a baby girl. Buttler was recently playing in the ongoing Indian Premier League for the Rajasthan Royals. He had then ended his stint with the Royals earlier than expected as he flew back home last Saturday to be with his wife and attend the birth of his first child.
Buttler and Louise had tied the knot in 2017 before England’s trip to Australia for the Ashes. And the happy couple is now gearing up to start a new inning together once again as they have entered parenthood. Buttler could not have asked for better news ahead of the all-important World Cup as he looks to power his country to their first-ever World Cup title. The wicketkeeper-batsman is in stunning form at the moment and will be hoping that the lady luck brings even more good news for him in the coming days.
The 28-year-old has had a successful outing in the IPL. Opening the innings for the Royals, he scored 311 runs in eight games. At the time of his departure, Buttler was the Royals’ highest run-scorer. He is now gearing up for the upcoming games against Ireland and Pakistan before the World Cup gets underway.
England will play a one-off ODI with Ireland on May 3 before locking horns against Pakistan for one T20I and five ODIs. With form on his side, he will be one of England’s most important players in the busy summer that will conclude with the iconic Ashes.
Buttler’s wife reveal baby’s name:
Louise took to Instagram to post a picture of a happy Buttler family as she revealed the name of the newborn is Georgia Rose. Holding the initial letter of her daughter’s name with her husband standing beside her with the baby in his hand, Louise wrote; “2 become 3!! Georgia Rose”
