England is all set to tour West Indies in the first part of 2016 to play a limited-overs series against the West Indies. Both the boards have agreed onto the tour and broke out the details today. England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) have announced the itinerary for the ODI tour to the West Indies next year with a press release on ecb.co.uk.
In the 3-match One-Day International (ODI) series the teams will play two ODIs at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua before the final match of the series is played at Barbados’s Kensington Oval.
ECB Director, England Cricket, Andrew Strauss said: “We are pleased to have agreed the itinerary for this tour which will form an important part of our one-day squad’s preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy in England and Wales later in the summer. West Indies is always a popular tour destination for England fans and we trust as many supporters as possible will travel to the Caribbean to show support for the team.”
