England v Pakistan 2nd Test, Day 4 – Statistical Highlights

England came back strongly after losing the first Test at Lord’s against Pakistan as they defeated the visitors by a 330-run margin at Old Trafford, Manchester. England declared at 173/1 in 2nd innings after opting not to enforce follow-on. Chasing 565 runs, Pakistan was bowled out for just 234 runs in less than 3 sessions in their 2nd innings. 291 – Wickets taken by James Anderson at home in Test cricket, most by any pacer. Anderson went past Glenn McGrath’s record of 289 Test wickets at home. Overall, only Muttiah Muralitharan, Shane Warne and Anil Kumble picked up more Test wickets at home.
