Windies showed a brilliant character at Headingley to level the series having walked into the game with a huge defeat in their throat. They lost 19 wickets in a day at Edgbaston in the first Test match and that lump was there to stay. Shai Hope and Kraig Brathwaite stood as pillars of the West Indian batting in both the innings and stitched big partnerships. England got back into the game after conceding a huge 169-run first innings lead but a successful 322-run chase powered by the Hope-Brathwaite pair ensured their first Test win in 17 years in England.
