The highly-anticipated 2023 World Cup is just around the corner as the buzz and excitement begin for cricket's most awaited marquee tournament. Defending champions England and the runners-up from the last edition, New Zealand will square off against each other in the opening fixture on October 05 at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Both sides famously played out one of the most memorable and epic ODI matches in the final four years back at Lord's.
Eoin Morgan and his men clinched their maiden WC title by defeating Kane Williamson's Kiwis by the barest of margins on a boundary count with even the Super Over ending up in a tie. The current holders of the T20 and ODI WC, England will yet again be the strong contenders for the elusive trophy with hosts India and five-time winners Australia also in the mix. Jos Buttler and his side will face one of their fiercest rivals, the Aussies in Match No. 36 on Saturday, November 04 at Ahmedabad as the cricket fans across the globe wait for the mini Ashes encounter.
