Although India have a good chance at doing something historic, they still are a country mile away from materializing the dream.

Although England are leading the series 2-1 at this juncture, the momentum has slightly tilted in favour of the Indian side that registered a resounding victory in the previous game. Former English skipper Michael Vaughan reckons the home team will bounce back to seal the series, but that is very much debatable.
These are two evenly balanced sides in the longest format and to see both of them going all the way down to the wire in every game is pretty satisfying for a cricket lover. With two more games remaining, the series is expected to finish on a high and certainly, to predict the right outcome will not be easy.
But Vaughan reckons moving into the business end Ben Stokes will excel with the bat. In the video published by Mr. Green Sport’s official Twitter handle, he said that Stokes will do well with the bat and he will overcome all the stress he has been facing in the last few months. He also predicted that Stuart Broad will do well with the ball and hurt the visitors.

A shot at history for the Indian side
Only once in the entire history of Test cricket, a team has come from 2-0 down to win a series. Australian side under the leadership of the greatest ever cricketer Sir Donald Bradman in 1936/37, defeated England 3-2 despite trailing 2-0 at one point.
That’s a feat incredibly difficult and almost impossible to replicate, but the Indian unit in the ongoing series has a great chance to do so. Despite trailing 2-0 before the Nottingham Test, it was very evident that this side under Virat Kohli will not go down without a fight. As it turned out, they did give themselves a lifeline in the series with a thumping win.
India will go out hard on the hosts in the next two games and their determination will be higher than ever before, but one cannot rule out the strength of the Three Lions. Although they have a good chance of creating history, they still are a country mile away from materializing the dream.
