Hardik Pandya, the Indian all-rounder, is all set to embrace fatherhood. The Baroda cricketer got engaged to Serbian actress and model Natasa Stankovic on January 1 and made a thunderous start to the year. Things have gone a tad a wary for him over the last few months, but he has managed to show great character. Going forward he will be faced with some huge family responsibilities.
On his engagement with Natasha, he bent on one knee and proposed to her, wearing a smile. Later, they exchanged a kiss, making the ambiance a romantic one. Five months later, Hardik’s joy has doubled as he will now be a proud father. To make the announcement, Hardik uploaded an adorable picture with Natasa. The swashbuckling cricketer is absolutely thrilled to enter the new phase of his life.
He captioned the photo and wrote, “Natasa and I have had a great journey together and it is just about to get better. Together we are excited to welcome a new life into our lives very soon. We’re thrilled for this new phase of our life and seek your blessings and wishes.”

Hardik Pandya having rough time
Back in January 2019, Hardik found himself into all sorts of trouble after featuring in the show ‘Koffee With Karan’, hosted by the popular Karan Johar. In the show, he made some comments, which were deemed sexist and misogynistic. He was also provisionally suspended and was sent back midway from the tour of Australia. His career had well and truly gone into the doldrums.
But he made a comeback, played the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales and showed his class. However, after the mega event, he again developed some injury concerns. Then he was picked to play for India A in the tour of New Zealand, but he was left out since he was deemed unfit.
Hardik made his India comeback in the home series against South Africa in March. However, the series had to be cancelled after the washed-off game in Dharamsala due to the coronavirus pandemic. He was also set to play for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL, which has also been deferred.
