Rahul Tewatia was born on May 20, 1993 in Sihi, Haryana. Sihi is located in the Gurugram district, which is one of the major districts in the state.

2. Made his Ranji Trophy debut in 2013

He made his Ranji Trophy debut for Haryana against Karnataka on 6th December 2013 at the Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium. He did not have a great start, scoring 17 runs in the two outings as a number 8 batsman and not picking up a single wicket
