Faisal Iqbal trolls Ahmed Shehzad for returning on field after freak collision

Pakistani cricketer Faisal Iqbal took very little time to troll Ahmed Shehzad on the social media after the latter walked back on the field after suffering a nasty collision in the second T20I against West Indies. The collision incident took place during the West Indies run chase in the match. Batsman Marlon Samuels fended off a straight delivery bowled by the bowler Sohail Tanvir.

The non-striker batsman Chadwick Walton ran towards the danger end as Samuels called him up for a single. Meanwhile, Ahmed Shehzad, who was fielding in the point region, was very active and thought he had a chance of inflicting a quick run out. In his attempt to do so, he ended up colliding with Walton, who dived to make it to the crease.

While Walton got up unscathed, Shehzad was seen lying on the ground. He looked in some serious pain and could not move either. The entire team gathered around him and the physio came in running to inspect what had happened. Soon, the neck brace was out for the aid of Shehzad and he had to be stretchered away off the field. The ambulance came to the ground to take him off the field.

The only bright spot amidst all the grim scenes at the middle was Shehzad keeping his eyes open. Just when the media had started showing up how brutal the accident was, Ahmed Shehzad was seen walking back to the field fit as a fiddle. This perhaps did not go down well with most people as they thought that the entire thing was a gimmick by the Pakistani opener.

One among the people thinking on those lines was 35-year old Pakistan batsman Faisal Iqbal. Iqbal called Shehzad a big actor and said the latter deserves an Oscar for his acting. He also added that Shehzad will never change. He wrote, “Oscar goes to Ahmed Shezad!!! NOO DOUBT  At ALL NOW!!!!  bahutt Bari Film ha!! Ya nahi sudraa gaa!!! ”
