'Family Man part 3 on the way' - Suresh Raina gets the best comment on Deepak Chahar's new look
Chahar shared a picture on his official Twitter handle where he can be seen sporting a completely different look.
India’s ace speedster Deepak Chahar doesn’t have any cricket scheduled for the time being. The 28-year-old isn’t a part of the 20-member Indian squad that traveled to the United Kingdom (UK) for the final of the inaugural edition of the World Test Championship followed by a five-match Test series against England.
Chahar last played competitive cricket during the India leg of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The right-hander represented three-time champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He was experiencing a good ride in the competition and emerged as one of the best performers for the Super Kings.
In seven matches, Deepak picked eight wickets at an economy rate of 8.04 and an average of 24.12. The seamer is enjoying his free time from the game by grooming himself and experimenting with his looks and hairstyle. On June 9, Wednesday, Chahar shared a picture on his official Twitter handle where he can be seen sporting a completely different look.
In the beautiful picture, Chahar can be seen with a more muscular body while the fans compared his hairstyle with the one sported by Amir Khan during the movie Ghajini. The picture uploaded by Chahar drew a lot of reactions from the cricket fraternity as many opined on the new look.
Meanwhile, former Indian batsman Suresh Raina also reacted to the Twitter post as he appreciated the seamer for his transformation. Raina also took a jibe on Deepak asking if he is preparing for season three of the popular web series Family Man.
“Family part 3 on the way bro !” Suresh Raina commented.
Deepak Chahar likely to don Indian colors during the Sri Lanka tour
Deepak Chahar will be next seen playing international cricket during the India tour of Sri Lanka in July 2021. India is scheduled to travel to island national for three One Day Internationals and three T20 Internationals. Since most of the main pacers including the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Shardul Thakur are a part of the Test squad, Chahar is likely to essay the role of the main seamer for the Indian team.
