Family of victim demand life ban on Ben Stokes
He’s a loving dad and a proper family man: Close associate of Ryan
The family of the ex-soldier injured during the street brawl outside a pub in Bristol has appealed for a life ban on England star all-rounder Ben Stokes from playing international cricket. Ryan Hale’s family has greeted England and Wales Cricket Board’s (ECB) decision to ban the Durham cricketer infinitely.
Almost one week following the arrest of the vice-captain of the England team, the family of the former soldier who served in Afghanistan while representing the Rifles, accused the sportsman of disgraceful behaviour. Both Stokes and Alex Hales have been suspended weeks before the English team is scheduled to take off for Australia.

One of the close associates and relatives of Ryan Hale told claimed that the veteran soldier would not do anything to instigate a fight. The relative told the soldier had “served his country” with a tour of Afghanistan before leaving the Army in 2013.
“He’s a loving dad and a proper family man. He’s got a little boy. He wouldn’t instigate a fight, ever. He’s a trained soldier, he’s been to Afghanistan. He knows better than that. But he knows how to handle himself. It’s quite shocking. I don’t think he’s said much to anybody. You wouldn’t expect that kind of behaviour,” claimed the woman according to Sunday Telegraph.
“No.” simply said the woman when Asked whether the 26-year-old cricketer should be allowed to represent England. She also greeted ECB’s decision to suspend Stokes with open arms and claimed,”He should not be allowed to just carry on as if nothing has happened.”
Angela Hale, the mother of Ryan Hale, tagged her son as a non-aggressive type of person and the conduct of both Hales and Ben Stokes “isn’t ok.” “Obviously he is not OK and it is not something that happens on a daily basis. He’s not an aggressive type. It’s up to the police investigation now.” quoted Angela.
