Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik and Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza were blessed with a baby boy on Tuesday. Ever since the news has been made official by the cricketer himself on his official Twitter account, the social media is abuzz with congratulatory messages for the couple. Shoaib also confirmed that Sania is doing well after giving birth to the baby.
They have already cleared that the surname of their child would be Mirza Malik and they wouldn’t force him to get into any specific career. Also, there was a lot of interest about the nationality of the baby which didn’t impress both the sportspersons as they time and again came up with statements of the same not bothering them or their families.
Excited to announce: Its a boy, and my girl is doing great and keeping strong as usual #Alhumdulilah. Thank you for the wishes and Duas, we are humbled 🙏🏼 #BabyMirzaMalik 👼🏼

A fan shares a hilarious picture
Meanwhile, the name of the newborn baby was also decided as the couple named the boy Izhaan. In the Arabic language, Izhaan means submission or obedience (in God). It has also been learnt that he weighs 3.5 kg as per a source close to the family.
While the fans are eagerly waiting for a glimpse of the baby, one of the fans has shared a hilarious picture of the baby and termed it as the ‘leaked picture’.

Interestingly, Malik has also loved the picture and had fun over the same. He, however, informed that they haven’t shared Izhaan’s picture in public yet. But he loved Babar Azam’s picture and called him a ‘cute baby’ only to confirm that he was not his and Sania’s baby.

As far as Shoaib’s on-field career is concerned, the 36-year-old is all set to feature in his last World Cup next year in England and is in the form of his life. He is one of the fittest cricketers in the team at the moment and will be taking the field for his country on Wednesday in the first T20I against New Zealand despite becoming a proud father only on Tuesday.
