However, from there they went a little off road as they lost three wickets in the next four runs. Scoring rate came down as well due to this and it seemed they would get to a below par total but a late flourish down the order pushed them to a total of 108 runs at the loss of five wickets. Even this total seemed too little for the in-form batters of Abu Dhabi as they lost just one wicket and chased down the total within seven overs. Hence, Abu Dhabi won the match easily by nine wickets.
Fujairah had played against Emirates Blues in their last encounter where Fujairah won the toss and elected to bowl. The pitch was a little slow to bat on but Blues started horribly. They lost their complete top order on their individual ducks. The team lost four wickets within two overs with the team’s score reading only zero. Ashwant Valthapa played a good innings and he was helped by Adithya Shetty, but other than these two none of the batters could actually reach a score in double digits. They posted a meagre target of 60 runs which Fujairah chased down like it was a child’s game. They required just half of the overs and won the match very easily by nine wickets.
