None of the other batters managed to make a double-digit score for the team. Ireland could make 275 runs for the los sof eight wickets and lost the match by 35 runs. Fazalhaq Farooqi was the most successful bowler for Afghanistan and took four wickets for 51 runs in 10 overs. Gurbaz won the Player of the Match award for his batting performance.
