Group C will witness Afghanistan take on Papua New Guinea in their respective penultimate matches of the group phase games. The Afghanistan side just need to win their match against PNG to officially knock out New Zealand and enter the Super 8 stages. PNG on the other hand will look to cause an upset as they have already lost their first two matches of the campaign.
