Afghanistan lost their openers cheaply, but the middle order was fantastic to put them up in the driving seat. However, they kept losing wickets regularly, which hurt them in the end as they fell short of the target by just two runs and were bowled out.

Sri Lanka squared off against Bangladesh in their last match, where Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat. Sri Lanka started off really well, with both their openers looking in good touch and scoring at a rapid pace. Several batters got starts, out of which Nissanka and Dhananjaya could only notch up their fifties as they posted a total of 263. In reply, Bangladesh was even more sensational right from the start as every batter looked to make the most of the situation. They won the match easily by seven wickets.
