Their openers performed brilliantly as Vishwapratap Singh scored a brilliant century and was dismissed on 103(57), and his opening partner Jaskaranvir Paul scored 58(43). Nobody except their openers was able to cross the double-digit, which was why they lost the game by eight runs. Gurnoor Brar scalped four wickets.

Hampton Falcons faced off Royal Phantoms in their first match, where they opted to bat. They posted a total of 198/8 in 20 overs as opener Anshul Choudhary fell short of his well-deserved century as he was dismissed on 91(40). Harpreet Brar and Ayush Goyal picked up three wickets. Harjas Tandon picked up two wickets. Royal Phantoms were able to score 182/9 with top contributions from Taranveer Singh 51(35) and Vaibhav Kalra 46(24). Hampton Falcons Skipper Siddarth Kaul scalped four wickets, and Madhav Pathania picked up two. Both teams will look to keep their winning momentum ahead.
