Ambernath Avengers (AMA) will face Koparkairne Titans (KOT) in the fifth match of the Navi Mumbai Premier League 2024 on Wednesday (February 14) at the Mazgaon Cricket Club Ground. Both teams lost their first match of the season.
The Avengers faced Kalyan Tuskers in their last match and elected to bowl after winning the toss. The Tuskers posted a total of 155 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs on the board. Saksham Jha was the most successful bowler for the Avengers and picked three wickets for 37 runs in four overs. The Avengers could make only 132 runs for the loss of nine wickets and lost the match by 23 runs. Saksham had a dominant outing with the bat as well and scored 53 runs off 28 deliveries.
The Titans took on Mira Bhayandar Lions in their first game of the season, where the Lions elected to bowl after winning the toss. The Titans could make only 124 runs for the loss of six wickets. Bins Neyyoth was the highest scorer with 46 runs off 39 deliveries. The Lions chased down the target of 125 runs in 18.4 overs with five wickets in hand.
