Odisha did not start too well, losing two of their wickets within the powerplay, but due to a good knock by Govinda Poddar, they were able to propel the team’s total to 151 runs. What happened in the chase was not something that would have been expected by anyone on the ground. The opening stand lasted for 150 runs and sealed the match for them, winning the game by nine wickets with around five overs to spare.
