They lost an early wicket but had two-century stands for the second and third wickets, respectively, which brought them back in the game and put them ahead in the driver’s seat. They set a huge target of 345 in reply of which, Pakistan lost two wickets early and looked in trouble when the pair of Shafique and Rizwan added 176 runs. Fantastic finishing touches meant Pakistan chased a record total and won the match by six wickets.
