Australia will be up against West Indies in the 2nd Test of the West Indies tour of Australia at the Brisbane Cricket Ground in Brisbane from January 25. Australia seems to be in good form in the recent matches in this format and they have continued with the same in this series as well. They won the match comfortably while West Indies would be looking forward to up their game and giving a tough fight to the Kangaroos.
In the first match of the series played at the Adelaide Oval where Australia won the toss and elected to field. The entire batting line-up of the West Indies faltered as no batter other than Kirk could score even fifty. They were bowled out for just 188 in the first innings. Australia too looked a bit struggling with the bat but first Usman Khawaja and then Travis Head saved the day for them as they posted a decent total of 284 runs on the board in the second innings.
In the third innings, the batters looked rusy again with both the openers having gone at the combined total of one. Kirk McKenzie did look good for a while but could not save defeat for long. A couple of decent knocks helped West Indies put up a meager total of 120 runs on the board which meant Australia had a target of just 26 runs in the fourth innings. Usman Khawaja was retired hurt due to a bouncer but otherwise Australia had not other problems in chasing the total down and won the game by 10 wickets.

Player Picks
Josh Hazlewood AUS | BOWL
Taking a career-best wicket haul in Test Cricket, Hazlewood was rightly awarded Player of the Match in the last game. He can be the best choice for leadership roles in your team.
Travis Head AUS | BAT
Head slammed a beautiful ton in the first innings for Australia as they were looking in some trouble. He looks to be in great form making him another fine choice for the same.
Shamar Joseph WI | ALL
Shamar was the pick of the bowlers for the West Indies as he picked up five wickets in the game. He also scored 51 runs down the order getting his team to a respectable total.
Nathan Lyon AUS | BOWL
Lyon took three wickets in the last match where he bowed with an economy of 2.58. He scored an important 24 runs with the bat when he got the chance to bat in the first innings.
Pat Cummins AUS | BOWL
Cummins has been leading his side from the front with his regular performances and he did the same. He scalped away four wickets in the last game as well.
Steve Smith AUS | BAT
Although Smith could not perform too well in the first innings of his life as an opener, he did look much more stable in the second one. He is a class player and would be expected to excel in this coming game.
Kirk McKenzie WI | BAT
Kirk is the second-highest scorer from the last match and the best batter from the West Indian side. He smashed 76 runs in the last game which included 11 boundaries.
Justin Greaves WI | BAT
Greaves is an all-round player who can contribute from all ends of the game. He scored 29 runs, scalped two wickets with the ball, and was fantastic with his fielding as well.
Kemar Roach WI | BOWL
Roach would be hoping to put up a better bowling performance in this match as he has taken just two wickets in the last game and scored 28 runs. He could be a good budget pick for your team.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Kavem Hodge
WI | ALL
Kavem did not look very comfortable with the bat as he was able to score just 15 runs combined from both innings. He can be left out of your team.
Joshua Da Silva
WI | WK
Joshua did keep the wickets for West Indies but with the bat, he looked rusty. He may be kept out of your fantasy team for this game.
