Bangladesh (BAN) will lock horns against South Africa (SA) in the 14th T20 World Cup 2022 Warm-up match at Allan Border Field in Brisbane on Wednesday. Bangladesh lost against Afghanistan in their first warm-up game after losing all four games in the New Zealand T20I Tri-Series last week. Taskin Ahmed and Hasan Mahmud took five wickets combined to restrict Afghanistan on 160/7 while bowling first but the batters struggled for the runs from the start and managed to score only 98/9 in 20 overs.

South Africa beat New Zealand by nine wickets in their first warm-up match after losing both white-ball series against India. Keshav Maharaj took three wickets and Tabraiz Shamsi and Wayne Parnell grabbed two to bowl out the Kiwis on just 98 runs while bowling first. The Rilee Rossowuv smashed unbeaten 54 runs off 32 balls to guide Proteas to an easy nine-wicket win in just 11.2 overs.
