They won the toss, elected to bat, and were off to a brilliant start, courtesy of a half-century from Shahrukh Nawaz. Nawaz scored 57 runs off just 29 balls. He was the lone warrior for the team, and others kept coming and going. They posted a good total of 103 runs at the loss of four wickets after the end of the first innings.
