Sri Lankan Lions squared off against Limassol Qalandars in their last encounter where Sri Lankan Lions won the toss and elected to bat. The match was reduced to nine overs a side due to the rain. On a good track to bat, the Lions were simply sensational as they smashed 50 runs in just two overs. They kept hitting at the same rate and piled on a huge total of 158 runs. Qalandars did not start well and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. They crumbled under the pressure of such a huge chase and lost the game by 71 runs.
