Later in the second innings, the Stags (CS) bundled out the Volts (OV) at a score of just 186 runs and chased down the nominal target of 31 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets. Eventually, Tom Bruce’s CS registered an 8-wicket win to start their campaign on a winning note. 

On the contrary, Cole McConchie’s Canterbury Kings (CTB) faced an unexpected result in their campaign opener. The Kings took on Northern Districts (ND) in their campaign opener; the latter comfortably won by 7 wickets. So, the CTB will be eyeing winning this game and getting off the mark in the tournament.
