Sri Lankan Lions faced Black Caps in their last match, where Sri Lankan Lions won the toss and they elected to bat. The Lions were off to an amazing start as they had a brilliant opening partnership of 88 runs within six overs. The batters who came further upped the ante, and the scoring rate further increased. They piled up a humongous target of 152 for Black Caps to chase. Black Caps, however, did not start as they would have hoped for. They had a good second-wicket partnership which brought them back into the game, but it was not enough as the other batters couldn’t contribute. The Lions won the match easily by 45 runs.
