Durdanto Dhaka (DD) will lock horns with Chhattogram Challengers (CCH) in the 5th match of the BPL 2024 at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on January 22. Durdanto Dhaka has played only one game so far which they have won and are third in the rankings while Chhattogram Challengers have won and lost a match each from their two games being placed fourth in the rankings.

Durdanto Dhaka squared off against Comilla Victorians in their last match where Durdanto Dhaka won the toss and elected to bowl. Victorians started slow and had lost their first wicket at 23 runs but a brilliant second wicket stand of 107 runs paved the way for them. Thanks to the innings from Kayes and Hridoy, they were able to score 143 runs. Dhaka, in return, was brilliant right from the first ball as the opening stand of 101 runs made the chase easy for them. They were easily able to chase the total thereon and won the game by five wickets.

Chhattogram Challengers had played against Khulna Tigers in their last encounter where Khulna Tigers won the toss and elected to field. On the slow track of Mirpur, Challengers started slow and even lost some early wickets. However, they had a couple of decent partnerships in the middle as well due to which they were able to post a decent total of 121 runs on the board. Tigers had an aggressive approach to the chase and they did slow down a little after losing some early wickets but the target did not seem terrifying enough. They won the match by four wickets easily.
