Dindigul Dragons had played against Siechem Madurai Panthers in their last encounter, where Salem Spartans won the toss and elected to bat. Choosing to bat did not go much in their favour as they had two wickets already at the score of 24 runs. There were some decent partnerships made, although there was no huge individual score achieved by any player. They managed to reach a total of 124 runs at the expense of eight wickets. The Dragons had a horrible start, but a few partnerships kept them on track. Although it did not prove to be enough, and by the end of the innings, they could only score 106 runs which meant Salem Spartans won the match by 18 runs.

Ruby Trichy Warriors had played against Siechem Madurai Panthers in their last encounter, where Ruby Trichy Warriors won the toss and elected to field. Panthers lost a wicket early but had a solid second-wicket partnership which put them back on track. The scoring rate was quite slow, and they also kept losing wickets at regular wickets. A good finish towards the end helped them reach a total of 136 runs. Warriors started well, but as they lost their first wicket, they got slow. Soon they started losing wickets regularly as well, and soon enough, they were bowled out for a meagre total of 100 runs. Siechem Madurai Panthers won the match by 36 runs.
