Though they started their campaign with a defeat over Mumbai Indians by four wickets, they made a strong comeback with a hat-trick of victories.

They registered victories against UP Warriorz by nine wickets, RCB by 25 runs, and Gujarat Giants by 25 runs. They would be aiming to continue their good winning momentum and avenge their loss over Mumbai Indians in their season opener.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians are equally good in the campaign, registering three wins and suffering a defeat with six points and a Net Run Rate of 0.402. They started their competition with two consecutive wins over Delhi Capitals by four wickets and Gujarat Giants by five wickets.

However, they faced a setback over UP Warriorz with a defeat by seven wickets. Nevertheless, they made a strong comeback with a resounding seven-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore. With good all-round effort, they would be aiming to add another win and propel to the pole position.
